Becoming a Youth Member

Please Note: Until either form is filled out, your child cannot participate due to safety and duty of care concerns.

Active Waiting List: Our Joeys Unit is at capacity.

1. Complete the Prospective Member Form (Y4) from the link in the sidebar or alternatively, fill out the form below.
2. Membership depends on position availability at which point application may be added to a waiting list.
3. If approved, attend three nights as a trial.
4. On the third night, parent notifies the Section Leader(s) with intent to join.
5. Invitation to join will be generated by the Group Leader (GL).
6. Once your have confirmed details and accepted the invitation, the GL will approve the application.
7. Treasurer will submit an invoice of annual membership to be paid in advance.
8. Once paid, receipt is given, and Operoo membership invitation is sent.
9. Parent purchases new uniform from the Scout Shop.
10. Investiture takes place after around six-eight weeks.  Parents and family welcome to attend.
