Warragul Scout Group’s Hall is available for hire to the public on application, as it is a popular choice for reasonable sized community events, meetings, dance and fitness groups, martial arts classes, private gatherings and celebrations. We are positioned near a park and walking track, with functional basic amenities including a kitchen and restrooms.
While being an affordable venue option, the hire fees assist us to meet program costs, hall and ground maintenance expenses. No proceeds go to profit as branched under Scouts Victoria, we are a Not For Profit organisation.
To enquire about hiring the Warragul Scout Hall, please fill out the form below. This form is the first step in the hall hire process and should be submitted at least two weeks prior to when the hall is required. This must be completed if you are wishing to hire our Scout Hall.
Costings (Discounts for Scout Members):
- Flat-rate: $30 per hour
- Four Hours: $60
- All Day: $100
Conditions:
- 18thand 21stBirthday parties and schoolies celebrations are not permitted.
- Parties for other older children/teenage birthdays will only be an ‘Approved Use’ if the young person is a current member of Scouts Victoria and the function is open to a broad range of youth and adults, and has adult supervision.
- Children under 5 years of age are not permitted, due to the hall having stairs and other areas that younger children may stumble into.
- We also strongly recommend registering any party at www.police.vic.gov.au/party-safe as a secondary measure.
- Hire for commercial and retail entities are also not permitted.
- Form completion does not guarantee a booking, as there may be booking conflicts.
*Please note that hall hires can only be accepted in line with current COVID Directions. Private functions must comply with the restrictions for indoor social gatherings in the Stay Safe directions. Community, recreation or commercial hires, etc must comply with the Restricted Activity Directions and a COVIDSafe Plan should be in place for the hire.
