The Joeys had an awesome time at the Warragul Community Garden this week, planting some broad beans, watering the garden and looking for all the different insects. We found so many, including lots of ladybugs on the backs of the pumpkin leaves and bees around the pond looking for a drink before flying off to help the plants. We had an insect scavenger hunt and the team with the most species had 23!
Most of the Joeys got to hold a ladybug thanks to our Scout Helper Teagan, who helped them find and safely transfer them.
